The indicator lights designate the various statuses of the trainer:

When Emy is charging, a light on the upper part of the trainer stays lit. This light goes out once the trainer is fully charged.

Here are the steps for connecting the Emy Kegel trainer to the mobile app:

• Make sure Emy is fully charged before using it for the first time

• Shake the trainer to turn it on and make sure the indicator light on the central part blinks for more than one minute

Open the mobile app, click on “Start an exercise,” select the “Complete” offer, navigate through the screens, click on “I am ready,” and the app should quickly connect to the trainer without any prior pairing.

If you already paired Emy with your smartphone, please remove the trainer in your phone’s Bluetooth settings. The Emy Kegel trainer automatically connects to the app without any prior pairing.

To make the most of Emy, we recommend that you get into a semi-supine position (flat on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor). Lie down comfortably, spread your legs, and use a pillow to raise your neck. Place your phone near your thighs to keep the Bluetooth signal as unobstructed as possible.

Always keep your legs apart to allow even weak Bluetooth waves to communicate with your phone.

When inserting Emy, make sure the brightest part of the indicator light on the central part of the trainer is facing the ceiling.

Do not cover the base of the trainer with your hands. Covering the white part of the base (which contains the Bluetooth antenna) can result in a loss of signal strength. In general, you will not need to hold or move the trainer during your exercises.

The mobile app contains instructions on how to do your exercises and contract your pelvic floor. Go to “Help & Advice” > “How to properly contract”

You should not be contracting any other muscles except those of your pelvic floor. Place your hands on your buttocks, thighs, and abs to make sure the muscles in these areas are relaxed.

If you are still unsure, we recommend that you consult a health care professional.

Emy is extremely easy to clean. Simply wipe it with mild soap and water (do not use abrasive products). For hygienic reasons, Emy is perfectly smooth and 100% waterproof. It can therefore be completely immersed in water. As a precaution, however, we recommend that you do not use the Emy Kegel trainer in water (bathtub, ocean, etc.).

If you are prone to infections, clean Emy before and after each use with a pH-neutral antibacterial cleaner designed for intimate accessories.

Make sure the trainer is completely dry before storing it in its case.

Do not use the trainer in extreme cold or heat (below 0°C/32°F or above 40°C/104°F).

If the trainer goes unused for long periods of time, recharge it every 2-3 months (at least) to make sure it remains in good condition.

To clean the charging case, simply remove the trainer and wipe the case with a disinfectant wipe. Do not immerse the case in water or store it in extreme cold or heat (below 0°C/32°F or above 40°C/104°F).

Congratulations on your pregnancy! We do not recommend using the Emy Kegel trainer during pregnancy as this is not an ideal moment to strengthen your pelvic floor.

Instead, you may wish to focus on awareness and relaxation exercises to ensure a smooth delivery.

On the other hand, the Emy Kegel trainer – a medical device developed and recognized by health care professionals – is perfect after giving birth.

Women usually begin Kegel exercises 6 to 8 weeks after delivery, once they have had their pelvic floor checked by a health care professional.

Absolutely. Remember to clean Emy thoroughly before and after each use.

Sure, Emy is perfectly compatible with IUDs. Emy is a Kegel trainer for the vagina while an IUD is inserted into the uterus. The two devices will not touch.

If you suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction (prolapse, pelvic pain, etc.), we recommend that you consult your gynecologist before purchasing Emy.

We recommend the following position to prevent your Kegel trainer from disconnecting during your exercises: lie down with your legs slightly apart and place your phone near your thighs to keep the Bluetooth signal as unobstructed as possible.

If the indicator light on top of Emy is flashing during charging, it may mean that the probe is not charging properly.

• Charge Emy overnight in its charging case (despite the flashing)
• the next day, check if the light is still flashing
  • If the light is still flashing, contact our customer service at lea@fizimed.com
  • If not, shake Emy to turn it on and check that the light in the center oscillates for more than a minute. If not, contact our customer service at the above address.

If you have not charged Emy for more than three months, it may take longer to charge.

Remove the Kegel trainer from its case and shake it to turn it on.

If the light in the central part of Emy oscillates, put Emy back on charge and check that the light comes on.

With a full charge, Emy Pump gives you an autonomy of around 2hours and 30 minutes  on the standard setting, but this can be longer depending on various factors (such as the suction power selected, the duration of each pumping session, as well as the frequency of use of the breast pump). ⏳

This may allow you, over the course of a day’s use, to have your hands-free for several extra hours, because we know how precious every moment of freedom is for a new mother! 👩‍👦

To charge Emy Pump, plug the USB power cable into the USB-C port on the Hub and into a 5V, 1A USB charger. The full charge light will then flash on Emy Pump’s display to indicate charging. 🔌

When the milk pump is fully charged, the indicator stops flashing and remains steady. When using Emy Pump, this same light is displayed on the screen to indicate that the breast pump is sufficiently charged. 🔋

When the battery is low, a low battery indicator (containing a single bar) lights up on the display during use. When this light is on, recharge your breast pump before the next use. 🪫

There are several reasons why Emy Pump suction may be too low.

1️⃣ Components are damp.
👉 Dry all components.

2️⃣ Components are not properly assembled.
👉 Check that all components are correctly positioned and assembled.

3️⃣ Battery no longer has enough power.
👉 Recharge the breast pump for 180 minutes.

4️⃣ Nipple not sealed tightly enough with breast sheild
👉 Re-position the nipple shield correctly, making sure it is well sealed against the breast shield.

5️⃣ Nipple not compressed enough against chest.
👉 Check that the nipple is correctly positioned and compressed.

If the Emy Pump does not suck, check the following points:

1️⃣ Valve not present or damaged.
2️⃣ The diaphragm is not present or damaged.
👉 Re-assemble the breast pump, adding the missing parts or replace the damaged part.

3️⃣ The connector and diaphragm are not properly positioned and assembled with the manifold.
👉 Re-assemble the breast pump, pressing the connector and diaphragm firmly against the manifold.

There are several reasons why Emy Pump may not switch on:

1️⃣ The battery is empty.
👉 Fully charge Emy Pump’s battery for 180 minutes.

2️⃣ Emy Pump is still connected to the charger.
👉 For safety reasons, the breast pump cannot be switched on while charging. To use Emy Pump, you must disconnect it from its charger.

3️⃣ Charging is not carried out correctly.
👉 Use the supplied charging cable and plug it directly into your computer’s USB port. Eliminate any plugs or extension cords that may be causing charging problems. Check that the full charge indicator on Emy Pump’s display is flashing to indicate charging.

If you are leaking milk from the breastsheild:
👉 Check that the diaphragm, connector and nipple assembly are tight, and that the closure cap is securely closed.
