Emy was conceived and designed by and for women with the help of health care professionals. Lightweight and compact, the Emy Kegel trainer is made with soft and soothing materials for comfortable use.
Emy is suitable for all body types. Its round design provides for outstanding comfort and allows you to even use the trainer while dressed. Emy is composed of a taller upper part that is inserted into the vagina and a round base to keep the trainer in place.
You can use a water-based lubricant to make the trainer easier to insert.
The indicator lights designate the various statuses of the trainer:
- Light blinking on the central part of the trainer: Emy is on and attempting to connect to the mobile app
- Light turned off on the central part of the trainer: Emy is in standby mode OR connected to the app
- Short flash every 3 seconds on the central part of the trainer: Emy is connected to the application
- 3 quick blinks on the central part of the trainer: the battery is low and must be recharged
When Emy is charging, a light on the upper part of the trainer stays lit. This light goes out once the trainer is fully charged.

Here are the steps for connecting the Emy Kegel trainer to the mobile app:
- Make sure Emy is fully charged before using it for the first time
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone
- If you have an Android smartphone, you must also enable GPS in the location settings
- Shake the trainer to turn it on and make sure the indicator light on the central part blinks for more than one minute
Open the mobile app, click on “Start an exercise,” select the “Complete” offer, navigate through the screens, click on “I am ready,” and the app should quickly connect to the trainer without any prior pairing.
If you already paired Emy with your smartphone, please remove the trainer in your phone’s Bluetooth settings. The Emy Kegel trainer automatically connects to the app without any prior pairing.

To make the most of Emy, we recommend that you get into a semi-supine position (flat on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor). Lie down comfortably, spread your legs, and use a pillow to raise your neck. Place your phone near your thighs to keep the Bluetooth signal as unobstructed as possible.
Always keep your legs apart to allow even weak Bluetooth waves to communicate with your phone.
When inserting Emy, make sure the brightest part of the indicator light on the central part of the trainer is facing the ceiling.
Do not cover the base of the trainer with your hands. Covering the white part of the base (which contains the Bluetooth antenna) can result in a loss of signal strength. In general, you will not need to hold or move the trainer during your exercises.
A water-based lubricant can help eliminate any pain or irritation you might feel when inserting the Emy Kegel trainer.
You should not feel pain when using Emy. If the pain continues even after using a lubricant, we recommend that you consult a health care professional.

Emy is suitable for all body types: depending on your physique, the base of the trainer may stick out more or less from your vagina.
If the trainer slides out during your contractions, you may be pushing instead of contracting. Keep doing your exercises. After a few sessions, your pelvic floor will be more toned and the trainer should no longer slide out of your vagina.
You may also be using too much lubricant, which could explain why Emy keeps sliding out.

There is no fixed rule.
The app offers a variety of programs to meet your own individual needs.
You can also define the frequency and duration of your sessions with the health care professional in charge of your Kegel exercises.
The mobile app contains instructions on how to do your exercises and contract your pelvic floor. Go to “Help & Advice” > “How to properly contract”
You should not be contracting any other muscles except those of your pelvic floor. Place your hands on your buttocks, thighs, and abs to make sure the muscles in these areas are relaxed.
If you are still unsure, we recommend that you consult a health care professional.
Emy is extremely easy to clean. Simply wipe it with mild soap and water (do not use abrasive products). For hygienic reasons, Emy is perfectly smooth and 100% waterproof. It can therefore be completely immersed in water. As a precaution, however, we recommend that you do not use the Emy Kegel trainer in water (bathtub, ocean, etc.).
If you are prone to infections, clean Emy before and after each use with a pH-neutral antibacterial cleaner designed for intimate accessories.
Make sure the trainer is completely dry before storing it in its case.
Do not use the trainer in extreme cold or heat (below 0°C/32°F or above 40°C/104°F).
If the trainer goes unused for long periods of time, recharge it every 2-3 months (at least) to make sure it remains in good condition.
To clean the charging case, simply remove the trainer and wipe the case with a disinfectant wipe. Do not immerse the case in water or store it in extreme cold or heat (below 0°C/32°F or above 40°C/104°F).
Congratulations on your pregnancy! We do not recommend using the Emy Kegel trainer during pregnancy as this is not an ideal moment to strengthen your pelvic floor.
Instead, you may wish to focus on awareness and relaxation exercises to ensure a smooth delivery.
On the other hand, the Emy Kegel trainer – a medical device developed and recognized by health care professionals – is perfect after giving birth.
Women usually begin Kegel exercises 6 to 8 weeks after delivery, once they have had their pelvic floor checked by a health care professional.
Absolutely. Remember to clean Emy thoroughly before and after each use.
Sure, Emy is perfectly compatible with IUDs. Emy is a Kegel trainer for the vagina while an IUD is inserted into the uterus. The two devices will not touch.
If you suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction (prolapse, pelvic pain, etc.), we recommend that you consult your gynecologist before purchasing Emy.
The Emy Kegel trainer was designed for intravaginal use to help women strengthen their pelvic floor. Emy was made exclusively for women. We currently do not sell a comparable device for men.
However, you can subscribe to our Essential offer on the mobile application “Emy – Kegel exercises” which allows women, as well as men, to train their pelvic floor.

The Emy application is compatible with all smartphones and tablets from Android 5 and iOS 11.
Emy connects to the app via Bluetooth. You can use the Emy Kegel trainer without being connected to the Internet. You’ll need to connect to the Internet to access certain help content but you won’t need a connection to do your exercises.
Yes, you can use the Emy app to do your exercises without the trainer. Download the free Emy app to discover all our offers.
To make the most of your pelvic floor exercises, we recommend using the Kegel trainer which allows you to follow your contractions on your smartphone in real time.

Emy is a fully waterproof medical device made of biocompatible, medical-grade materials. It is perfectly safe and meets an extremely strict set of medical standards and requirements.

The Emy Kegel trainer uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. The waves emitted by the base of the trainer (which remains outside the vagina) are extremely weak.
To illustrate, the power of the waves emitted by your smartphone is 1 to 2 watts. The power of Wi-Fi is 0.1 watts and the power of Bluetooth is 0.001 watts.
In other words, the waves emitted by Emy via Bluetooth are 1,000 times weaker than the waves emitted by the phone in your pocket.
The Emy Kegel trainer complies with all current standards regarding medical devices.

On Android phones, location services (GPS) must be enabled before a device can be connected via Bluetooth.
Before connecting your Kegel trainer, enable GPS in your phone’s settings (Applications > Emy > Permissions > Location).

We recommend the following position to prevent your Kegel trainer from disconnecting during your exercises: lie down with your legs slightly apart and place your phone near your thighs to keep the Bluetooth signal as unobstructed as possible.
Always keep your legs slightly apart to allow even weak Bluetooth waves to communicate with your phone.

Remove the Kegel trainer from its case and shake it to turn it on.
If the light in the central part of Emy oscillates, put Emy back on charge and check that the light comes on.
If the light when charging still does not come on or Emy does not come on when you shake it, please contact our customer service via the contact form at the bottom of this page.

Yes, Emy comes with a 5-year warranty for any purchase made on www.fizimed.com. The warranty covers all manufacturing and operating flaws or defects for 5 years from the date of purchase on the invoice and under the following conditions:
- the user must provide the device’s serial number
- clients must guarantee that the device must be used in accordance with the user manual
- the user must provide a proof of purchase (invoice, confirmation email, etc.)
To file a warranty claim, please contact the customer service of the company from which you purchased the device.

If your warranty claim is valid, the defective Emy Kegel trainer will be repaired or replaced.
